GeopoliTalks: Live Streams to Demystify World Events
In an increasingly interconnected world, global events have direct and indirect consequences for Central America and El Salvador. However, mainstream international coverage often assumes audiences have a robust international background, leaving them without the necessary context to understand why these events matter to their daily lives. To bridge this gap, I conceptualized and spearheaded a series of live streams aimed at breaking down major geopolitical developments into simple, accessible narratives.
The objective was to translate complex global affairs into clear and engaging discussions that empowered audiences to see beyond headlines and understand the underlying forces shaping the world. Through these live streams, viewers gained insights into the origins of major news stories, the historical context that shaped them, the key actors involved, and the different perspectives at play.
I was frequently interviewed during these sessions, using a conversational and friendly approach to demystify critical global issues. Whether covering international conflicts, economic shifts, or diplomatic crises, I provided analysis that made these stories relatable and relevant to Central American audiences. This not only raised awareness of the broader implications of global events but also fostered a deeper understanding of how decisions made on the world stage affect local realities.
By making geopolitics accessible, the live stream series contributed to a more informed audience, equipping them with the knowledge to critically engage with news and recognize their role in an increasingly globalized society. Find the episodes below:
